This welcoming and supportive course is designed for all community and allies, providing a safe and caring space to explore Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD). Across three sessions, participants will engage in meaningful discussions, personal storytelling, and shared learning. This course fosters connection, empathy, and acceptance while providing tools and insights to navigate diverse identities and experiences.

Each session blends shared personal experiences, interactive activities, and reflective discussions, creating a warm and inclusive environment for all participants to learn, relate, and grow.

Session 1: Celebrating Gender Diversity

In this session, we will explore the vibrant spectrum of gender identities, from non-binary and transgender to genderqueer and beyond. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and listen to others, creating a tapestry of lived realities. We will discuss how societal constructs influence gender norms and examine how embracing gender diversity can foster authenticity and self-acceptance. This session invites participants to reflect on their own identities and learn to affirm and celebrate others.

Session 2: Embracing Sexuality

This session delves into the vast diversity of sexual identities, including queer, asexual, pansexual, and more. Through open dialogue and personal storytelling, participants will explore what it means to live authentically in their sexuality. We will discuss how heteronormativity impacts self-expression and how to overcome internalized stigma and shame. This space encourages participants to embrace self-acceptance and build confidence in celebrating their unique journeys.

Session 3: Redefining Relationships

In the final session, we will explore relationship diversity, from polyamory and queerplatonic partnerships to relationship anarchy and traditional monogamy. Participants will share insights and experiences about how different relationship structures affect their lives, focusing on communication, boundaries, and power dynamics. This session fosters a sense of community and mutual understanding, creating an affirming space where everyone’s relational choices are valued.
